Silver ornaments have been traced by as far as 4000 BC, known to be used as money by 800 BC in countries around the Nile River, and through history since has been used to manufacture coins, decorative ornaments and jewellery. Silver is recognised as a precious metal along with its counterparts, gold and platinum.
Of all of the metals silver has the highest known electrical and thermal conductivity. Used in fabricating electrical circuits, as well the particles are deposited for coating electronic conductors. It is the preferred metal to use over nickel or palladium with electrical contact. Silver is known as the noblest of compounds because it is the least reactive chemically of all the elements.
Cleansing method
Silver can be fragile to clean because of size of smaller pieces, but you don't need to be a professional to clean yourself.
Using soap in water as a solution and submerging is the gentlest form of cleaning and inexpensive. Immediately rinse under running water and gently pat dry using a soft cloth or microfibre towel.
